A native Arkansan living in Greenville, South Carolina, I work out of my home studio creating hand-cut florals and painting vibrant shapes and flowers to fill your home with reminders of the goodness of change and growth. Though I’m a neutral gal when it comes to my own wardrobe and interior styling, I can’t help but slap down bright ochres and vivid pinks on my palette in an outward expression of the joy that playful colors bring me! I hope the artwork and paper goods I create bring you as much happiness as they do me.

MOnte Baker

There is something inherently transitory in the way place and identity intertwine. Through a dialogue with the landscape tradition, I aim to explore this liminality. Pulling from echoes of places once called home, a lush otherworld is built in order to reconcile the self with the complexities of existence. Paintings are constructed from fragments of different spaces, each in reference to a different point in my life, a different version of myself.
